The Environmental Chamber is used to simulate various temperatures to determine its effect on fittings and/or hose assemblies. Little to no pressure is applied to the samples during this test. No catastrophic failures can occur in the chamber, as it may cause damage to the equipment. Fixtures can be designed to handle many size samples provided they can fit into the chamber. If testing involves specific standards or specifications as per the test request a copy of the said document will be required to conduct testing.
• Internal dimensions: 30” x 33” x 36”
• Maximum temperature: approximately 400°F (204°C)
• Minimum temperature: approximately -100°F (-73°C)
• Current available range for testing: -40°F (-40°C) to 180°F (82°C)
• Added components may be necessary to reach outside of current range
• Complete test packet is available at the conclusion of testing
