Heat/Elevated Temperature testing is conducted with hydraulic oil using a through-flow process; meaning the fluid is pumped from a reservoir through the sample and back into the reservoir. The sample is set to the desired temperature rating and held/soaked for approximately an hour. Following the soak period, we then build pressure by choking off the flow to the reservoir. Each test is conducted to a specific time and pressure based on the test process requested. The test parameters are variable within the specifications of our equipment. If we are to follow a specific standard or specification as per the testing request a copy of the said document will be required to conduct testing.
